"...if it was easy." I had an epiphany looking at my Calendar Blocks. I had my cleaning tasks set up 3 days a week. Every stinking week and they would get pushed forward, rearranged, or deleted, totally stressing me out and putting myself down for a failure. Then it dawned on me that I don't have to vacuum, dust, or do laundry every week, it is just me and hubby. We have minimalist clothes, a room filter for dust, etc... the necessity motive just wasn't there. So, I gave myself every other week off and Ta Da. Now, they get done on time and no grumbling from my inner baby that doesn't want to adult.

I love that you brought up a scarcity mindset. It so easy to get stuck in your head. It’s so easy for you mind to say “nah, you can’t do this because XYZ” and we need to reframe our mindset so we say, “Why Not?!” Or “I CAN!”

Brilliant questions! Some of them sting (hello #2), but sometimes you have to give yourself a bitter pill to get out on the other side and be kinder to yourself.

#5 a lot of our thoughts are not based on facts. Just because we have a thought it doesn't mean it's true - our thoughts lie and they lie a lot. Being able to challenge those negative thoughts will help us live in the moment and can also reduce feelings of anxiety.

Having the seven questions in our armory will help us train our minds for the challenges of every day. We can choose to GATLUW. It just takes practice. I know we can! No more scarcity mind set or negative self talk. Perhaps if we use these ideas we can struggle less. The truth is that it is up to us!

My main one is frustration. It pops up now and then. Especially at times like now when I have $5 left until the 20th. If I can get my business to earn more than $20 a month, I can get myself out of all of the other things causing frustration, leading to fatigue as I have a chronic illness. This isn't a feeling I bury myself in, I mostly manage to snap out of it and feel happier about other things. But I can't really escape my finances. This is about numbers and facts, not just a feeling or my mindset. Several coaches have tried to find faults with my mindset but ended up saying it's good.
