Finally test driving 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid HEV! I met All-New Kia Niro few months back at Seoul Mobility Show, where I covered just the exterior because that was all the access I had at the moment.

In today’s video I’m covering the exterior & interior review that I’ve missed out from the last video, and city-drive 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid to see what it is all about; the mpg.

Quick update on the 2023 Niro HEV & EV specs (*Not official from Kia yet, but from a reliable source.)

150kW (approx 204hp, same as 1st generation Niro)

(1st gen had 356V/180Ah, got slightly larger)

We are on our 3rd Kia. we selected Kias because if you buy the second car as soon as you finish paying for the first one (5th year), you can have the 2 cars covered under the 10 year warranty while carrying only one monthly payment (for the second car). I am not sold on the "EV only" platforms, but I think that my next Kia (with God's help) is going to be a plug-in hybrid. Thank you very much for the review, !

Good looking vehicle - this car aspires to C seqment, especially with Business Line + Premium package. Just lack of 360 camera (even as an option) seems to be ridiculous...

Thank you for the great review and allowing us outside of Korea to have a first peak in detail of such great car! Does the car really not have 360 camera view (or as an option)? What kind of parking assist it has when you put it in reverse or try to park? Thanks!

What was your opinion of the interior materials? Are they cheap or decent (e.g. padded or hard plastic)?

I have a 19 Niro hev Touring and I love it as much now as three years ago . Great car . I'd say that this new one sounds a little quieter and smoother . Don't like losing the shifter, oh well . I li, e the way the old one looks and this is fine .

Great Review!! i took test drive of Kia Niro 2022 model yesterday and i must say it really is a good car with value for money. I wonder should i go for it or wait for this new model ( not sure when it will be available in Europe). New headlights are looking cool

You should have also mentioned that with 16 inch rims, the ride will be better over bumps, potholes and imperfections, than with 18 inch rims.

Shout out to your assistant for the in-car second camera footage.
I see Kia/Hyundai have seen the error of their ways and placed a rear wiper where it belongs ;)
Will using the rear washer fluid clean off the backup camera? 6 more feet of flex tubing and an outlet won't break the bank.

Hyundai and Kai are doing great with there new cars. I do reckon the car would do well with a bit more torque buts a great looking car.
