Here are some sample agility and mobility exercises I do and did in the rain, making it more difficult due to the slipperiness.

Mobility and agility are crucial for fitness, especially as we age, because they encompass several key aspects of physical health:

Improved Balance and Coordination: Mobility and agility exercises help enhance balance and coordination, reducing the risk of falls, which are a common concern for older adults.

Increased Flexibility: Regular mobility and agility training can improve flexibility, making daily movements easier and more fluid.

Enhanced Cognitive Function: Agility drills often require quick decision-making and mental alertness, which can help maintain cognitive functions and mental sharpness.

Strength and Endurance: Mobility and agility exercises often involve dynamic movements that engage various muscle groups, contributing to overall strength and endurance.

Joint Health: By promoting better movement patterns and reducing stiffness, mobility and agility training can support joint health and reduce the likelihood of injuries.

Cardiovascular Health: Many mobility and agility exercises are aerobic in nature, benefiting cardiovascular health by improving heart rate and circulation.

In summary, mobility and agility are vital for maintaining overall fitness, mobility, and independence in older adults, contributing significantly to their quality of life.

I know exactly what you mean when you're outside in the rain. I love it! I go to a local outdoor track kitted up and I love the fact I have it to myself for at least 2 hours. Love your work!!

Well done for this message- 62 year old woman based in UK. About to go to Hyrox World Champs next week so keen on fitness. Somehow I instinctively had taken this kind of approach but it absolutely makes sense. The way I've always approached it is to remain a child on a physical level- run, jump, climb, dodge, lift... these are all things we did without a second thought as children- why does everyone stop? I train triathlon and Hyrox but also gymnastics and hoping to start Brazilian Jiu-jitsu soon.

I came across your channel today and I am very impressed. I haven't watched all the videos yet... but I will, but also subscribe so I don't miss the upcoming videos.

I have a question and would really appreciate your advice: I am getting pain in my neck and a lot of headaches that go with it... but I also have pain in my elbow (tennis elbow). I am being treated by a physiotherapist with dry needling among other things.

In short: I was exercising every day (maybe too much?) and doing many variations of push-ups. I can no longer do push-ups and certain other exercises without getting pain in my neck.

What do you advise?

Super motivating video! Thanks a lot! My style is the same. Neither rain, nor snow, nor scorching sun can be a reason to cancel training.

The YT algorithms sent one of your videos to me a few days ago. I'm glad it did. I watched more videos and subscribed. Keeping / protecting your mobility, as you age, is huge!!! Thank you sir for talking about this !! Younger people don't appreciate or understand I'm 65 and have always been interested in staying and feeling healthy. Played a lot of (American) sports growing up and into my mid-30"s, including a little HS football where I lifted weights and added bulk. (BTW, I definitely agree w/ you that being bulky in your older years is a mistake-it will injure your joints, etc - as you've said in your videos.) I was 5' 10' and weighed 160 lbs when I was 18. Fast forward a few decades - in my 40's and 50's, I was 6' 0" and weighed 210 lbs. At age 61 and 62 I was retired and trained for and did a few sprint triathlons. I was 6' 0" and weighed 180-185 lbs then, and felt better than I had in decades. Never took any medications then or now...Just providing you a little background information here so I can ask a few questions; I appreciate your patience reading this....Got much more sedentary in 2020 and started feeling serious osteoarthritis in my right hip at age 63. At age 64 I was carrying a heavy object down stairs and tore my left knee meniscus. It was a small tear and surgery was not needed. I have no swelling and can walk a mile+ now (and building) w/o concern, though I would not even think about running or biking at this point. I'm currently 200 lbs. It's obvious to me that I should lose 15-20 lbs, for many reasons, especially to try and heal my (hip/knee) joints fully....
1) since I have limited mobility b/c of my knee, how do you suggest I lose weight? Simply restrict calories?
2) is there anything in particular that you would suggest to further along my left knee meniscus tear recovery?
3) any other suggestions for me to reclaim my mobility ?
4) hopefully I can reclaim it fully....
I'm sure there are millions of people in my

Thank you for your time and sharing your insights !

I like this channel. Not sure what to make of it because I'm no expert but your msg resonates with me. Im approaching 40 and not as nimble as I used to be. I want to make sure Im still skiing hard when Im 90. Your agility gives me hope. Unrelated question, do you stay out of the sun and stay covered up? I notice from your videos that your skin looks super youthful, doesn't appear degraded at all. The fact you've been ripped all your life may also contribute to that I suppose. Thanks!

How long do you do this type of exercise, 1hr, 30min? I know everyone is different, didn't know if doing it for say 10 min. Would be of any benefit. Thanks.
