Imagine having planets controlled by automotons and terminids. So while fighting with us would fight each other. That would look awesome.

Given evidence of the bugs preference to Swarm Tactics, its more than likely a strong defensive line from the Automatons, utilizing their defensive turrets, tanks, and their machine guns, they'd have a fair chance against the bugs, utilizing their superior armaments against the bugs. And with their automated factories producing new units quickly, they could use some hulks and factory striders to suppress the bugs advance long enough for their rocket tanks to destroy the nest. That's based on my experience fighting both sides. Ultimately, while the bugs are a threat, the Automatons are a much bigger threat overall.

Took my laser guard dog out for a walk the other day, saw a pack of hunters doing the griddy on a hellbomb

When a Fabricator Strider would enter the field, the fight is gonna be over pretty quick

A guy on reddit said this:
"The bot would ended up with a bug in their system"

we CAN find this out, keep the terminids back, SHOVE the automatons back, keep the bugs heading west and the automatons east and we can shove them into each other and watch what happens.

When we face the bugs, we crush the E-710 out of every single bug

Tanks, AA tanks, heavy and rocket devestors, if a squad of 4 helldivers can wipe out termanids, then i think the bots would steamroll the bugs, chargers would definitely be a problem

The lighter automatons reloading would get a lot of them killed because they decide not to move when they do for whatever reason they are not much smarter then the bugs I guess

Bots would basically crush the bugs in a normal match up. Even super colony vs malevalon creek, the bots take it. They have an overwhelming amount of explosive weapons and those will be invaluable to the bots.

None of the bugs can aim up. Gunships would be the deciding factor

It would be terrifying to see them both working together because they have a common enemy

Guys. I found a solution to the Chaosdiver problem: Wear the Dissident’s Nightmare cape. If Chaosdivers are dissidents, that means they will be utterly horrified by this cape. Picture it!

I would love it if Helldivers 2 took a page out of Halo’s book and occasionally place the enemy factions against each other on certain planets. So while you’ll be fighting the Bugs and Bots both, they’ll also be fighting each other, it’d be a giant three way fight. And once the Illuminates arrive that’ll mix things up even more.

It’s always great to see smart AI in video games fighting one another, as you sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Pure ecstasy for the eyes.

watching giant lasers and orbital cannons battle the Super Destroyers is awesome and makes the bots a lot scarier than the bugs to me. would absolutely love a Terminid mission where some kind of collosal immobile giga Impaler is battling Super Destroyers with its tentacles going all the way into orbit and you have to call in a Hellbomb like with the Orbital Cannons to kill it.

The Bots do have some crude brainpower to rub together and are capable of significant adaptations to battlefield conditions. Plus they would be able to use their own ships to conduct orbital bombardments like the SEAF does. Build substantially elaborate fortifications and of course; bring an enormous amount of firepower to bear.

Depends on the planet.

But let’s say the bots still has their gunships pre nerfed (nerfed because no one knows how to tag gunships to warn teammates before they surround you) I could see bots winning.

Factory striders and shield devastators would obliterate. But I still would like to see this simulated.
