I promptly shot it anyways because accepting diplomacy from the enemy is treason.

This made me think of something interesting. During the latest update I landed on a planet with a bunch of unarmed bots. No weapons, no flares, just standing around locations of interest. I thought "Oh, they're like civilians and they're colonizing like us, thats cute, " and promptly ripped them to shreds. I don't know if I've ever had the thought of "noncombatants... Kill them anyway" in a game im not actively playing an evil character for

I shit you not I have run into several Bots that scream ''kill me!'' or ''I dont want to do this'' and when I fight those chainsaw wielding bastards half the time it sounds like maniacal laughter and the other half it sounds like sobbing. Some of the bot basses have cages full of dead super earth citizens and the uhh...*BLOOD ALTER* next to their bot fabricators....
