I think the most chilling thing about this song is the implications. Why would an army of mindless killing machines need a marching song as if they needed inspiration? Is it just psychological warfare meant to scare the Helldivers? Or are they actually fully sapient and pursuing a cause they genuinely believe in? Then again, some Automatons (Hulks and Berserkers, specifically) seem to be wearing Human skulls like decorations. Is that just more mind games? Or are they trophies from the Helldivers they're most proud of killing?
