Yes these hit the chest. The contraction at the top is great. Plus the stretch at thr bottom on the lats ceps and pecs.

I cant make my chest work jn any way, when doing db pullovers. I obly feel it in my lats or long heads of my triceps, delending on how i do them😢

I’ve a hack for the pullover. I program pullovers with a Swiss bar and flat bench. Big stretch. Great for sternal head and upper pec. Great for building power. Great for developing punching power.

I think this is a chest or back and feel hand placement definitely makes a difference. I also like doing this on an incline bench and finish my chest/shoulder day with this lift…and also hit partials focusing on the negative. I love this finisher and as much as weighted dips as a total upper body exercise…it ties everything together for me.
