Boy Mike that was nice of you to damage your car like that so you can share this how to video. At the end of the day it is your car and you are showing how you want to do the repair.I been watching gunman for a few years he really good. Back in early 70's went to a auto repair & paint school. Today materials are better and different, but process & methods still good, I really like wet sanding others like the dry sanding. Mike I followed you from the begining on the bug and the results are amazing, again love the color all the little add on trim pieces the car makes your teeth sweet, thanks enjoyed the video & learned a lot about the blending & the clearing.

I've spot blended clear and I never got the "ring" that you're speaking about because it's blended not taped in a circle, but what I really want to know is how long will the clear stay without fading or maybe even eventually peeling down the line. Never have I've actually spot blended clear on my own vehicles. What's your take on maybe the new clear starts to peel or fade out after a year or two?
