Great BP Meter, I took mine with me to my doctors office to compare readings with their blood pressure cuff, We got same readings sitting and standing, which made me confident the Omron was giving a accurate reading.

I agree. Omron is at the top of the list for home use. They are very accurate. I use an Omron that’s wireless called Evolv. Another good choice are the ones made by A and D Medical.

I found out about a year ago that i have high blood pressure. I was prescribed 25ml of metoprolol. I am currently trying to lower it naturally. I have exercised my entire adult life, even thru my pregnancies. I work out on my Peloton at least 5 days a week for a good hour and then I walk on my treadmill for 45 min. I do push myself hard on the bike, just wondering if I should continue that pace after watching your video. I am 65, eat fairly healthy, I'm sure I could do a little better, gonna look into the mediterranean diet.

agree. tried other brands which gave ridiculously varying measurements from day to day. Omron is consistent and accurate.

Omron makes a good meter, but just know that the model the doc has a link to is for a product that is not returnable. How do I know? I bought one (from the doc's link, that he gets a cut from) and the meter is garbage. Either that or my BP is either 185/110 or 87/45. Piece of junk. I went to try and return it and "NO RETURNS". What kind of products on Amazon have no return? Maybe defective products sold by third party companies trying to make some money dumping products they know are defective? I don't know and I may have just gotten unlucky. However, if it smells like a greedy rat and walks like a greedy you know the rest. Buyer beware is all I'm saying.

In general, how long will an OMRON blood pressure machine last or stay accurate? I’ve only purchased OMRON to monitor blood pressure. I feel like the last 2 purchases only lasted a couple of years each. Thank you for responding. We enjoy your YouTube programs.

Anyway
I always got peoples preferring Mercury bp monitor instead of digital one
Reason they say that later is less accurate

I am very thin only 9.5 inch arm. Will universal small cuff work with Omron? I have occluded blood flow. The average automated pump in air really hurts my arm as it goes up way to high for my very low blood then my arm & hand tingles & hurts for long time after. Prefer self pump up so not toooo tight .

That has been my problem for some time. High B P and low heart rate . I am on peredopril and I cannot eat cruciferous veggies or leafy greens. Those elevate my numbers and brought me to emergency several times till I learned about this from the internet.
I walk daily. Exercise daily and my weight is low. No dairy or wheat or nightshades.
What else can I do to protect my heart. I also do lymphatic drainage daily. Drink lots of water.

Wondering what your knowledge/thoughts are on the Checkme (brand) BP2 monitor? It was the RedDot winner 2022 (not sure of the significance/validity of this award).

Sir Which omron blood pressure monitor model gives accurate blood pressure reading

I have one and their easy fit coupler is anything but that can't put it on by myself readings are way high and it pumps up longer than it has to getting bad readings a soft coupler would be better but they don't make one for my model. Even had a rep listen on phone while operating under her instructions and said it was running too long. Problem is it costs you to send back they don't open monitor up and reset. They only run it and if it checks to their specs they just send it back if bad they replace. This is only under warranty. Not impressed.

My problem is: I have an arm monitor and just looking at it my BP goes up. I want to try a wrist monitor, but can I depend on them for being accurate.

The best is manual apparatus as it gives you mental satisfaction which digital does not give.
