Five Elements QiGong Flow - Easy for Beginners (2019)

This video is a GREAT INTRODUCTION TO QIGONG. It is a SHORT QIGONG FLOW - that is a sequence of simple QiGong Exercises - Easy for Beginners - Easy to Follow. The routine incorporates QiGong movements relating to each of the five elements - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. As QiGong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine these movements are designed to work the Qi (or Life Force Energy) in and around our body so to release any energy blockages and thereby encouraging good health and wellbeing. The movements also work your major muscles in a gentle, low impact manner, get your body moving and help in developing that mind body connection to help you relax.

This set is great to practise on as a SHORT QIGONG FLOW, A DAILY QIGONG ROUTINE, BEGINNERS QIGONG and as a MINDFULNESS EXERCISE.

Tai Chi and QiGong can deliver great benefits to your health and fitness, as well as both your mental and physical well being when practised on a regular basis.

Always exercise within your own comfort zone and within your own range of motion by listening to your body. Stay relaxed and tension free at the joints so that you do not overstretch. Focus on calm breathing, deeper than you would normally if you can, and really develop the feeling of each movement. FEEL YOUR OWN FLOW.

Remember to take a rest and pause the video anytime you need to. Have a bottle of water near by, but not in the way, so that you can have a drink if you need to. Remember to enjoy your practise and have fun.

If you would like to develop your practise further then increase the number of repetitions of each movement, or repeat the flow sequence a few times through. Also, there is nothing better than a LIVE SESSION so search out an instructor nearby and try out a class.
