NEET 2024 Re-Exam Row: Nearly 50% Students Skipped Re-Test Today, Reports NTA | NEET UG 2024 Scam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) reported that nearly 50% of students missed the NEET-UG 2024 retest today, which followed a Supreme Court order. This retest saw 813 candidates, previously granted grace marks due to delayed starts at six centers on May 5, appearing at seven centers. Approximately 750 candidates opted out of the retest. Earlier, the NTA had disqualified 63 candidates for using unfair means during the exam. According to a senior NTA official, 'At least 52%—813 out of 1,563 candidates—appeared for the retest on Sunday.' This highlights the ongoing concerns and irregularities affecting the NEET-UG 2024 examination process.

There can be two sides to this story first being after studying so hard for months and getting good results no body would want to re write the exam, simple logic and the second is if someone has paid to get 720/720 marks why would the candidate repeat the test and show that he/she isn’t worth a govt medical college, I mean this retest was just a joke 😂 it doesn’t make sense, paper was leaked so the sanctity of the paper is compromised, that implies every single student should give re exam for their own benefit. Whoever took the decision to just held the exam for a few students is involved in this scam I guess. Getting into medical colleges have become a mockery, and the govt has made sure of it.

-We cant give reexam every time when nta or govt fails to provide a fair exam, mental health of students must be taken into issue, without that we cant give the same effort every attempt…Those shouting reneet most probably have nothing to lose, NEET is a matter of 99% hardwork and 1% luck, we cant gamble on a year worth of drop year loss after getting both hardwork and luck this time, I m sure those that tried hard but luck wasn’t in their favour wants to give reneet than to take another drop, just like that we value when luck is in our favour after years of hardwork, no reNEET!
