i always strugle to understand how the action of putting weight from your arm works, maybe you already have a video about this?

The fingers have to be strong enough to convey the arm weight to the keyboard. Weak fingers (in particular, the pinky) collapsed due to the arm weight will not work.

What do you do with double jointed fingers that collapse at the slightest pressure?

I like your videos but I think there needs to be more information on how to use arm weight in pieces. Does the arm drop with each note? If not, does there need to be a rotation to make the fingers move? Even working with a good teacher I’m still mystified by how to go about using the weight of the arm

I have no doubt that the way you teach piano works. But I disagree on your affirmation. Strength on fingers matters a lot. You can’t completely rely on it, depending on the situation, and naturally you aren’t able to develop the same strength and flexibility individually. Each finger has a limit on how fast can move and therefore, it is necessary to understand how to use them individually.

Piano playing is about control of the sound. In order to reach this in the easiest possible way, you need to optimize movement and understand the mechanics of your body and the instrument. The question is always what the most natural way is to approach what you are playing in every specific situation.
