The way it works is that if you are mad then she has to make it up to you. Basically be in the dog house for her actions so she fakes an attitude to even it out. If we are both at fault then none of us our at fault. Kinda like when a little brother is crying because the big brother hit him and the big brother tells the little brother to hit him back so he has nothing to tell about. This is why they always have some stupid reasons for why they are mad when you are mad. It's not what you said but how you said it is one of the dumb reasons they say. They always require you apologize first before they do even if you did nothing wrong

Okay I don't know what all your content is like so, I don't know if this fits with your general themes or if it's an outlier or maybe what I'm about to say might be something you've covered previously. But, what you're describing is an abuse tactic and I know we often don't want to say that men can be abused but they totally can be and this is an emotional abuse tactic. If you're with somebody who regularly behaves like this, over and over again, you should get the f*** out like they're not going to change even if you maintain that boundary, which you should. (And before someone says it, it's not that they're incapable of change, they are unwilling to change.)
