Bees naturally build their comb with the cell bases aligned horizontally, not with the tips pointing up. If the wax mold has the wrong orientation, the bees may reject it or build irregular comb. That’s why it’s important that the hexagon pattern is horizontally aligned in the mold.

Don't wait 2 minutes, use a container with water and move to hit after 20-30 seconds. You're gonna have much better production throughput, saving energy for warming the beeswax
