I never played these two questlines at the same time so Ive never seen this line. I never even thought about how it would interact.

It would have been a good idea if the stormcloaks attacked during the wedding
It'd be a dick move but while everyone's busy there they invade and catch solitude by surprise
Plus the dark brotherhood could assassinate their target and claim she got caught in the cross fire

Try to initiate Civil War quest during Wedding Bound to Death quest. Its even more dumb.

Yeah the whole dark brotherhood questline makes no sense once the Stormcloaķs have won. Why would Ulfric allow a wedding between an Imperial and a Stormcloak to happen in his capital city when he despises the imperials? Why would the Emperor visit Solitude when Skyrim isn't part of the Empire anymore?
