Ivar’s character arch is the best I’ve seen on any show. I despised his character so much that when Ragnar died I didn’t want to keep watching because of him. Yet towards the end he’s one of the main reasons I couldn’t wait for the next episode.

I LOVE Ivar! I really hate how it ended for him. He beside Bjorn was most like Ragnor and it sucked because he grew to truly hate Lagertha for killing his mother. She was my absolute favorite character on the show. Beautiful, fierce, fearless and will take your head like a man on the field of battle. This show is definitely one I wish I could experience for the first time all over again. When the Valkyries came to take Lagertha to Valhalla I felt like no one deserved it more! I adored this show and did not want it to end.

Ivar loved Freydis more than any woman before her, you can see he regretted what he did, he really did love her and one of the people who made him believe he was meant for greatness, it hurt deep😢
