I was vitamin D deficient and started taking a one a day vitamin. No longer deficient and feel much better and my skin also improved.

I've been taking vitamins for 20 years along with exercise and even with a questionable diet, my blood work is always absolutely perfect. No deficiencies and nothing out of the ordinary. I am 39 as well. Not saying it's because of the vitamins but they sure haven't hurt. I'll just stick to what has been working.

I had actually previously listened to this whole interview, and this section was the main part that raised my eyebrows, because I know that magnesium in particular, along with fiber, has been a very big help. Of course that’s anecdotal, but I can definitely tell how my body runs different if I go a few days without some Metamucil, for example.

It's better to get a blood test and see which vitamins you are deficient in, then supplement with the ones you are deficient in with a doctor's supervision

My best friend in high school would just literally pass out if she forgot to take her iron tablets. The man saying vitamins are not useful or even necessary is completely wrong.

I have felt a noticable difference over time supplementing vitamines. With a family and a job it is sometimes hard for me to consider everything in my diet. I eat healthy overall but supplementing omega 3 + multivitamin for sporters (extra magnesium, all B vitamines and vitamine D mostly) helped. That being said a decent diet is always nr 1.

Here we go. I used to get cold sores all time time, starting in Grade 3. Hated it, multiple times a year. Now 10 years ago, I started taking Lysine, since its shown to lower the outbreaks, and when they do, they are minor. Plagued with them for over 40 years now, and tried everything, and this is what worked. So therre a hole in your video Tim Spector

I used to take multivitamins and I've actually stopped. I started again and I feel a difference in life. It definitely makes a difference. Not drastic but you feel overall... Better. Maybe placebo? I don't think so.

The Harvard School of Public Health has long recommended taking a daily multivitamin supplement. It shouldn't be your main source of vitamins and minerals, but it can bridge the gap if you would otherwise have been deficient in any vitamin for any given day.

A team of doctors and medical researchers at a prestigious institution are probably more credible than any one doctor. And Greg seems to hold basically the same position too, so that's more confirmation that vitamins aren't a bad thing to have.

Ever after i starting supplementing Vitamin D3, i feel less fatigued. I used too have dark patches under my eyes, which are now gone (cause i am a nerd and don´t get enough sun) Vit D3 specifically is crucial for keeping your testosterone lvls in check.
