Habakkuk 2:15 (KJV) Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!

Hebrews 2:17 (KJV) Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Leviticus 10:8-10 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,
Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

Wine carnally represents being of the world but spiritually represents being full of the spirit of God, see

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

It also represents the blood Christ shed at Calvary and how we receive his Holy Ghost by his sacrifice

“And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

Thanks. I once somehow ended up going to a Catholic Church for some function as a kid and they did communion. They had passed around some type of dark liquid that I now believe was wine or something. It made me sick in the stomach.

Yes I have heard the original text meant the same thing as grape juice. The scriptures always make it clear when it describes the bubbling or the person being intoxicated. Thank you for this much needed clarification

No Jesus turned water into Great juice You look in proverbs Anyone that drinks red wine and the changes its cover it bites like a serpent. It also says anyone that drinks wine is not wise. And it's not wise just to have one drink with dinner that's not a Christian teaching That is a Catholic teaching.

Actually no Pastor Gene, you are totally right. True God told me the same thing, wine is synonymous with grape or pomegranate juice in the True KJV Bible. Amen. True God gave true Real Saved Bible believers full right understanding of his true Word. Wolves versions Won't do.
