Huh. When I was smol, I thought that the enemies in Sunshine were like ‘regional variations’ of the traditional Mario baddies. Seeing this, I think it finally clicked that they are literally a ‘child’s painting’ (Jr’s artworks) of Mario enemies, ink included.

I love how the Isle Delfino creatures are all strange and weird looking! Islands have all kinds of unique species not found on the mainland, so I always thought these weirdos were like the mario version of endemic island species. Although, since they explode into paint it makes more sense that they are just funny drawings.

I say theres 3 king boos, the one in sunshine is the youngest and not experienced, the second one the middle one is the one that appears everywhere outside of luigis mansion and sunshine decently experienced and very well known. The oldest one is in the luigis mansion games.
