Theres a cut between the first jumps when he enters the castle to the second floor. He cant normally enter the second area of the castle until he beats the first bowser because the spawn area doesnt exist yet.

Theres a splice when Mario BLJ’s, and even if he got to the spiral stairs, he’d be unable to get into the upper floor because there would be a black void/wall in the loading screen when you BLJ into the staircase. When you open the staircase door, that black void/wall is there (I’m pretty sure, ). So, you’d have to cut the video to get him to the spiral stairs without the loading screen, so technically the speedrun is fake and Mario would die while trying to get the cake while tryna TAS SM64 in a minute. I’m not criticizing em
