Trying to BLJ in Super Mario 63!

That said, just clear Bowser in the Dark World, jump straight into the Castle stage using just the Rocket Fludd.

Edit: I just found out that if you collect the First 8 Stars, defeat the first Bowser and complete the the second Flud Tutorial, you can go to a secret area of the castle which is on top of the second Key Door to access the Rocket and launch yourself to the secret Area which sends you to the Final Level

Super Mario 63 actually has an intentional shortcut, because if you use fludd right over the star door on the top of the main room, you’ll get to a secret area with a launch star that takes you directly to the final boss.

To skip this stairs you need rocket fludd, go to the main room and rocketjump above the ceiling

Funny thing is, it would be slower for any% speedruns, as there are hidden paths and hallways and such that allow you to get to bowser as soon as you get the rocket nozzle

I actually managed to do a blj by opening a million tabs while diving up the stairs when i tried to speedrun this game in middle school. Little did i know that there was a skip that the devs put in themselves that was faster lol
