GPZ 7000, 5000 & 4500 on a deep target.

A few years back, out in Victoria's golden triangle with a few mates, and a mate digs deep for a bit of brass pipe. It was the deepest hole of the trip so we were keen to run a few detector/coil combos over it to see how they performed. We start with the hole open, then bury it and swing again. Not a proper shootout or comparison type test but I found some of the results interesting.

Love your videos, so few people understand that it's the timings that make all the difference, not the other minor tweaks.

Great Video guys! It would be great to see when videos like this are made if you started sweeping say 1 meter before the target so we can get a picture of the ground noises around the target using the different settings. Cheers Guys keep up the good work

Great video! I recently picked up a 7000. I also have a 4500 with a 25" NF advantage mono, 17x13 NF EVO, 14x9 Coiltek Elite and 8" Commander. Haven't had a chance to get out and play with the 7000 yet. Videos like this are going to help me decide which one to keep. I don't use one enough to justify owning two. Thank you and keep them coming.

Nice to see your post and random test on the small pipe. I still run the 4500 and have found that running it in enhanced is my best setting for the ground I work. When I put it into normal setting the ground mineralization just plays havoc with the machine. In enhanced it the threshold tone runs smooth.

I still running my 4500 with a variety of coil types Mono & DD and sizes depending on the ground I am in & also weather conditions etc… it is still finding the deep gold… 😊! If I had to choose a coil: the coiltek elite coils it seems to run the best on my 4500 with amazing sensitivity🏆👍

✅Always love your Videos!

Cheers!

Even tho it was on a buried target it still proved the point what few have been saying for a very long time dont sell your 5000 if your chasing big deep targets with large coils. A s/h gpx is around 3k now great value and proven detector on large gold in victoria the zed has a wish washy signal response.

Interesting video. I still love my 5000 and will be hanging on to it for a while yet. Getting ready to head down to the GT now, should be there in a week. Thanks mate.

What is the maximum depth of the gpx 5000 on a target measuring 25 cm x 25 cm

Looks like the 5000 with the 17x13 is the winner here. I've recently purchased a 2nd hand 5000 with a few nugget finder coils (24x12", 15" & 14x9") -- do you think it'd still be worth me getting a 17x13"?

Oh, the GPZ 7000 is a great detector! I'm finding gold everywhere with it! #DiggingWithPhaseTech

There's a reason why the 19 is called the dog coil.

Great video, very interesting, it's a shame you didn't have a 6000 there too to see if it misses the target.

I'll stick to my 4500 with NF 19" mono Evo.

Its a shame you didnt go to Normal on Z - especially on the 19in as well as trying Nugget Finder too - maybe next time?

Try general and low threshold on the 7000.

First edition 4500 with elite coil 14 running headphones 300 ohms titanium drivers inserted into Koss ur30, s works better than my 5 or 7 .used the nugget finder 12 and 18 inch coiltek elite always back to the 14 elite. Had a 5 went back to an early aussie made 4500 running enhance having more luck .

Nevertheless, the 5000 killed them with that NF.
