Viewing a couple of the comments below, one needs to understand everything is relative. Here in the states, I know of 3 modded GPXs that pickup a .5 gram test nugget (lead) at 16" very clearly where a 7000 would barely hear it. And this was done with people who knew their 7Ks! I love my 4500 and found abit of gold with it

Hi Woody I have had a GPX 4000 and enjoyed it but sold it while I just couldn't use it due to work taking over my life. I am now in a position to enjoy life again and have been thinking of getting a small loan out on a GPX 6000. I have also considered the GPZ and a GPX 5000 with multiple Coils. Can you give me some advice on what you would choose and why please, thank you in advance.

I would like to ask. If buying first detector. The modification for a 7000 or a 4500 is better. I am going to get a second detector at the same time. I am looking at the 4500 and the 1000. I am going to have a play with the new toys then soon after when I get a handle on it sending the detector if it's ok to do the job. So when purchase which way should I go.

7000 weighs a ton. Only used a borrowed one once, never again . 4500 any day.

Nothing beats the Zed for all round performance. Sure, you might lose some sensitivity on <.5 grammers, but seriously, if you buy a Zed you're not looking for this. When you pick up the small stuff (which you can provided its set up for it), thats a bonus, but it's for going deeper and looking for the stuff that the 4500/5000 will miss.

Would like to see a real sweep test. Comparing a GPZ7000 at AU$9, 499 to a GPX4500 at AU$3, 490+$1800 for your mod for a total of $6300. Thats a big outlay. Gold today 13 july 2019 is at $64.67 you would need to find nearly 28 grams to pay for it.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying you are conning people but I am far from convinced that your mods have been proven in a real world application. A better test would be if your assistant placed the target in one of the pipes and you did a sweep to determine where the target was.
There's more money to be made off prospectors that prospectors make out of prospecting.

Please don't waste your money on goz7000, all said about it is a lie. The gpx4500 or gox5000 always outperform it. Good luck to you all.

Gpx5000 perform far better than Gpz7000. Don't spend your money on gpz7000 it doesn't worth the price, don't waste your money. Buy gpx5000 it is the best. Of course I have both and so I know better

lol . complains about interference when there is another detector sitting 10 feet behind him and a vehicle parked 20 feet away, probably has a phone in his pocket too with the WiFi turned on just to be sure

A 4500 is just as good as a z on depth, as long as you have it set up for the conditions and know what you are doing. The z is turn on and go.
