with the evidence of civilizations before the ending of the last ice age, i think it is more plausible the Anunnaki are ancient humans who survived the great flood and gave their knowledge to ppl like the sumerians. People from the sky could simply mean they had aircraft and not that they came from outer space. I personally think them being a pre-historic advanced race of humanoids is far more fascinating as it turns what we know about our own world and history on its head.
