Why did you plant it with the pineapple?

I like that you planted them together, they’re probably best friends by now. If you separate them, will they be sad? Or ready to see the world

Good going. Suggestion put the grapefruit plant in its own pot it will grow wild. It needs more space. Pick the fruit when its yellow.

Nice this is super cool. I feel like the citrus like having nutrient poor dry and constrained conditions to fruit or something

hello friend, thanks for sharing your experience 😁. I am a citrus collector and I live in Argentina, I have my YouTube channel where I share the many species that are not even known. I had a flowering from a 1-year-old seed and I think I know what the phenomenon we are experiencing is: "Citrus fruits reproduce by seed in two ways, one by seeds that give baby plants (sexual reproduction, the union of an ovule and a pollen) and the other is "Asexual" called APOMIXIS, which consists of "Mother Cells (which make up the seed) begin to divide and generate an embryo (called nucellar). that is, this Embryo is not a "baby", it should not go through juvenile stages, but rather it is made from adult cells of the mother plant, so it is born as an adult. that phenomenon exists and should explain what we saw. I hope this helps you to elucidate this phenomenon a little 👌😁

Ich grew both a lemon tree and a grapefruit tree from a seed. Both trees don't feel like blooming. The lemon tree is 24 years old!

This was interesting. Why did you not give the grapefruit plant its own pot to grow in? They would have been competing for nutrients and water.

im starting grapefruit from see too, and it seems that the seed gets pushed to the surface of the soil by the roots. Is that normal?

Wow I planted my grapefruit tree 2 years ago and the funny thing is that I had a seed germinate in the fruit also like you did. The only difference is that I still have no fruit or even flowers. It is super healthy and about 5 feet tall already. I was wondering if I should prune it or something else to encourage it to produce fruit. Any tips or advise would Bea appreciated
