If you are a mom going through Pupp right now, i get you. It's not trivial and i can imagine the sufferings it makes you feel. It's like having your belly/skin on fire. Wish you healing.

The way she downplays the effect in the video is so painful. It's a rash from hell. The itching is unbearable and wearing any cloth over it is impossible. This is as bad as it looks. Certain medical practitioners have such a book view of medical conditions that it just looses empathy in the communication of the condition.
Specially pregnancy is one such experience. You just don't get it until you've been there.
This is my first and i can't compare it to any other experience I've had in life.
Its the hardest thing to go through.

cholestasis should be spoken about more. I had itchy bottoms of my feet for almost a month during my third trimester With no rash in sight, thank God I had mentioned it to my gynecologist on my last visit. Turned out it was more serious than I could have ever imagined. I had to be induced 3 weeks early. Due to cholestasis, my liver had reduced bile flow which was putting my baby's life in danger. It only got worse as I was trying to be pushed along for delivery. My whole body became so itchy that no drug could help me. It was unbearable. And in the end had to have c-section because of it.

I might have had this my stomach was huge with twins red stretch Mark's and super itchy. I scratched and it felt so good. I made my streach Mark's worse but I still remember how itchy it was I don't regret scratching.

"The moms do fine". I mean are we saying relatively speaking? Because losing sleep due to extreme itching and fire ant like sensations on your skin isn't what I would call fine.

I've NEVER known of a pregnant woman to have this and she says that it's common🤔.

“It’s better than it looks”? Yeah clearly not someone who has dealt with this. I had this starting at 35 weeks and it was absolute hell. The itchiness was so bad that I wouldn’t sleep longer than like an hour or an hour and a half at a time :(

My friend suffered with this, she put socks on her hands it didn’t work, the itching drove her mad and yes she was left with scaring due to scratching.

I had this when i was pregnant with my twins . doc prescribed a cream. But what really helped was using a cloth dipped in ice cold water to rub all over my stomach and thighs as well as using oatmeal soap when i showered.. It eventually when away after 3 weeks.

She obviously never had this because she speaks about it so non chalantly 😣 I had it with my first pregnancy and I couldn't sleep well until it went away! It would get so itchy and hot! They gave me cream for it but it didn't do much and once it dried up it was itchy again! Those days were the worst! Thank God it's over!

Kinda looks like my belly. I never had any stretch marks until the third trimester! Mine was definitely itchy (but honestly most pregnant women’s belly’s are at this point) but I try not to scratch it.

Puppps makes you feel insane with the nonstop itching. Only thing that helped was detoxing liver. Drink hot lemon water in morning, black cherry juice, dandelion root tea. Eating celery, apples and dates. Used pine tar soap and jewelweed spray to help with the itchiness.

I had this with my first pregnancy. It wasn't as bad as hers but still it was hell! Along with the stretch marks and the itchyness it was such a bad Combo. Was perscribed hydrocortison to ease it and used a cold cloth over my belly aswell
