When people abuse others, it’s time to regulate! You are your brother’s keeper and Christians have an obligation to step up and stand in the gap for those who cannot speak for themselves, at all costs.

Best discussion I've seen in a long time. But then again that is your norm. Thanks! Meekness, submission, has a time and place, when others are being accosted is not either one.

So many Christians need to hear this...BADLY! Many preachers need to talk about this topic correctly, because MANY have twisted this into making us doormat & slaves. Thank you so much for saying what needs to be said, Rachel. ❤

Pastor Rachel,
I agree if you don’t step up then that sin is also on you .
If you see something and step away you are guilty by association .

Good for you. That's what my supervisor did to me. I tried to hold it together because I have a little girl to think about, and she made it so clear I had NO right to speak, and I was bullied bad. Very bad. I told her finally to please not speak to me that way, and I was fired. She's really happy about it. Now I'm having to start all over again, and it's not fun. Thanks for the video.

Many Christians need to take a stand. I've been the subject of abuse where believers didn't stand up when I was a child & many fake Christians had been abusive. Then I strayed for a while into the occult & wanted out...then I knew I needed Christ.

Woow

I'm angry to that lady and at the same time laughing for the way you get angry.

I wish I could speak when I get angry.
I usually become mute and my mind goes blank.
It would be so convenient if I could let my anger loose ( not too far though ) like you did.

You're awesome.

How can I overcome my spirit of timidity?

I grew up in a traditional “conservative” Asian culture, and I feel like I’m losing my bite as a Christian.

Too polite. Too proper. Too weak to speak the truth.

I wasn’t always like this. How do I get my fire back?

Father God, please drive out those trying to make merchandise of what is your temple in my life, the lives of my family friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with those who are making a merchandise of one's temple before God, in accordance with this word and the matthew 16:23, matthew 21:12-13, 1 corinthians 6:19, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah! ❤

I agree with your intent, not so much your method or choice of words..that said, I've sinned many times in anger and to this day pray for restraint in those moments, to be humble, patient and thoughtful before reacting. I am a work in progress..'being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Philippians 1:6 NKJV

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Psalms 141:3 NKJV
A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.
Proverbs 15:1‭-‬2 NKJV
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
James 1:19‭-‬20 NKJV
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Colossians 4:6 NKJV

May God our Father Bless you in the name of Jesus

Needed to come back to watch this video again. I love your videos because you can always feel your passion for Gods word whether or not it’s something I agree on completely. Yes we need to be humble but that doesn’t mean we can’t be passionate for Gods word!

As for this video I agree... There is a time for patience and a time someone takes it too far and you have to say something that will wake that person out of their sleep. We can show all the love and patience in the world but sometimes people don’t realize insanity of their actions until someone confronts them in anger. I’ve not only seen this theme repeated over and over in the Bible when people refuse to respond to gentle reminders but I’ve also notice this from my own life when my actions have gone to far in the past. Sure it hurts your pride at first but... When someone has confronted someone in anger this gives you a chance to humble yourself and reevaluate before you poison everyone around you and lose everything you hold dear. To me this shows the new age style hippie love creeping into the church as well. When someone bears bad fruit after repeated being warned with patience and love of course you should confront them... you should be upset. Never getting upset seems like some form of modern day self flagellation that makes people feel like they are holier than someone else I guess and it makes Christians look weak and unattractive.
