The BBC has launched a new education programme for children in Afghanistan who are banned from school.

It is aimed at children aged 11 to 16, including girls whose secondary education has been stopped by the ruling Taliban.

The weekly programme is called Dars, which means lesson in Dari and Pashto, Afghanistan's official languages.

It is hosted by BBC Afghan female journalists who were evacuated from Kabul during the 2021 Taliban takeover.

The BBC presenter needs to let these women speak and stop interrupting and talking over them which is extremely disrespectful. He is defeating his own purpose.

In my country, everyone is supposed to have the right to go to school. I was taught that education opportunity is one of the most fundamental right for it is the basis of democracy, free market economy, and good life.

Try to help the Iraqi kids too will you? With your Weapons of Mass Education Programme. Have some lessons taught by Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair.

Wait, how are you going to get these educational videos to the girls in Afghanistan? A lot of the internet access has been cut. And how are you going to advertise to the girls you have this free service? They're not going to even know this thing exists.

Make them a huge international university/living center or go gather them up and take them somewhere safe far away from those men .... women and children alike a real learning center, you can teach them, while someone cleans up all the bad guys or terrorist causing so much pain and suffering, after they are gone all those, in the learning center can return educated with some international support and sincere dedication in time, build Afghanistan back without it feeling like a Prison, once a country has been liberated spread the Liberty outward like a blast radius and in time you will look around and see a whole new world Free of oppression, where all are treated equally... it will take some time, patience, dedication and resources..but It can be done, it's not a impossible task to accomplish

People thanking the BBC need to realise that it is the licence payers who are paying for this and the BBC didn't ask us if we wanted it or not.

Dajjal (antichrist) is a great trial and only those can save themselves from this trial upon whom is the special mercy of Allah. Oh Muslims instead of joining Dajjal it is better that we die as Muslims. All the Muslims agreed and we wage war against Dajjal, the Muslim Army fought with Dajjal's Army and I fought with Dajjal and engaged him so he won't be able to use his powers on the Muslim Army. #MuhammadQasimDreams

The problem is the enforcement of western culture over a country that is totally different in its culture and traditions to the west and taking this point only in such a forceful way is not going to convince anyone back in the country because these two girls are completely different not even representing a bit of afghan culture and this is entirely unacceptable not only for taliban but also for common afghans and bringing this culture into Afghanistan doesn't make any sense..education is a different point here which should be given to everyone irrespective of the gender while imposing something else is totally different and most importantly the west is not so much concerned about girls in African countries going through so many atrocities but seems more vigilant about afghan girls which is beyond comprehension...
