I have a brand new 835E on order. Can anyone comment on the steering in this vehicle (does not come with power steering)? Is it unbearably heavy without power steering? I sent plan on using this vehicle for extended periods of time, if I were, I could see power steering being essential. Can power steering be installed down the road or is this vehicle one to avoid entirely?

The bed on the 835 is NOTHING new. It's the same bed from the 825. It's also too narrow for the rear track of the 835. I have an 835 and my main complaint is the rear tires throw mud all over the back of the cab and the door handles. It's a major PIA. Driving an open cab 835 would totally suck ass. I bitch about it on every Gator advertisement I come across. Other than that the 835 is a real nice unit. I can't believe the places it's gone. Use it almost every day for work. The AC works a great in the summer as the heat does in the winter. You can drive around in 3 degree F with a Tee shirt on and be comfortable.

Do not buy one. We paid 32 thousand dollars, put 17 miles on it and it was loaded on the trailer and took back. Very disappointed. Bought a Honda. Honda is the way to go
