I’m happy that there is a diesel option. I’m getting one very soon

Put a 6 speed dual clutch transmission like Honda pioneer and add another 20 hp to the 835 and you will have the perfect xuv

Why doesn't JD come out with something like the Crocodile; big brother to the Gator?

JD: So, if we did decide to do this, what would you want to see on this 🐊 Crocodile 🐊 / "Crock" ?
BP: Great question, thank you for asking. here's a few things that come immediately to mind:

1. Size - 30% larger than the
Gator
2. Engine - Diesel only, 50 hp +
3. Hydraulics - Bucket, Plow,
Snow ❄️ Blower
Grapple, etc.
4. Towing Capacity: Increase

* Alot of what the Gator has could obviously be replicated into the Crocodile; hopefully. I'm in New England, we get our fair share of snow. I currently own an X595 JD compact tractor. I have both the 47" blower & 54" plow. It does a GREAT JOB blowing snow! BUT if we get a foot plus, temps are in the teens to low 20's and I know I'm gonna be out there for a couple of hours blowing; gets COLD after awhile, just does. My father used to say: " Gets colder every year". I'm now starting to understand what he meant. I keep an eye out every year on the Gator, hoping that JD will announce they're increasing the Gators physical size in order to integrate hydraulics for future model(s). Sure would be nice to be able to sit in a nice, warm, good sized cabin with both defrost/heat. The caveat of course would be a 60"+ blower deck hanging off the front end of that Gator or "Crock"! Now that would put the FUN back into blowing ❄️🌨️❄️! Another nice feature would be a Bose stereo, in keeping with the 🇺🇲 American 🇺🇲

Doesn't Bobcat have 2 UTV models; one with 25 hp & the other 50? I hired a land clearing company, one of the machines they arrived with was the Bobcat 50 hp Diesel with a grapple attachment. Did a nice job. Cabin wasn't very impressive and it looked like it was made in the 60's. I'm a JD guy; holding out, still waiting for JD to appease me. Who knows, if JD won't grant me my wish; then maybe 🎅 will next ⛄ Christmas 🎄?
If, by chance, you do bump into him, tell him I've been good; OK? He may well be my only hope. Ha!

Is it actually gonna shift cause my 825i clutch is garbage, had it replaced under warranty and still cant shift unless the engine is off. Only has like 80 hours total

I hope the dumb CVT drive has either been greatly improved or replaced by a drive unit that won’t have clutch freezes. What a pain in the pocket. HORRIBLE. Did you hear me Johnny? 🤬😤😖

Would never buy another John Deere XUV again. My 2019 special edition with only 40 hours on it never shifted correctly from jump. They told me when I called, right out of warranty, it was a linkage problem. Here I am today with a $1500 bill for a frozen clutch, went back-and-forth with John Deere and they won’t do a dang thing. Very disappointed. I would avoid John Deere XUVs

sorry 40, 000 dollars plus for that I'll just buy a small 4X4 pickup to drive around on the farm .

About time when I want 4wd I want 4wd. Enginerds need to quit overcomplicating things. 4wd button on = 4wd on....

Question, when will John Deere make a electric UTV? The future is here

Avoid John Deere XUV’s at all costs. Clutch failure with only 40 hours, dang thing never worked right, no help from John Deere
