I dont squeeze them, i poke a hole with a needle, and then they're absolutely poppable, don't even leave a scar

You don't have to pop them
But if you wanted use something pointy made out of metal that you already desinfected. Make a tiny hole and squeeze it.

In 2013 i got rlllly bad acne. It destroyed my skin. After many years of trial and error i finally got my skin much better and its basically clear w lightly scarring. but, one of the things is i believe my pores became much larger and prone to these, and if i look close enough i can see a ton of them and its super annoying. One thing that is helping remove years of these is salicylic acid. Use the cerave SA cleanser, its gentle enough. Be super patient, but over time it will reduce ur pores. Be aware tho, as they start to finally surface over time its super tempting to pop them, i still do but i clean the area with alcohol w clean acne tools and very gently remove the ones that require almost no pressure. Itll feel like ur breaking out but its actually just surfacing, its rly satisfying finally removing something thats been under ur damn skin for YEARS

OF COURSE you can pop your own whiteheads! Sometimes they may need to be lanced first, but yes, they are squeezable (thought there is a risk of injuring the skin in a way that inflammation develops where there was previously none.)

Taking it easy on primer and foundation will hugely improve this problem.

Ahhh but the pop of eventually doing so much damage to the skin and enduring the pain to work that oil to the surface appears so satisfying compared to the hurt that came before it that it’s so easy to think of as worthwhile

Say, sometimes I get these lumps at the bottom of my eyebrows. They can be up to a cm in diameter and maybe 2-3mm raised from the surrounding skin. They are the same colour as my skin but pretty sore. If I can get my fingers round them are sometimes poppable with pain and effort. What are these wee bastards and how can they be dealt with? Lance with a boiled needle? Ignore and let a lump invade my vision for 4 weeks while it heals? Go to a doc and have it frozen?

Mine always get inflamed 😭
But my body tends to lean toward inflammation. Have to say, adding an ice roller to my skincare has helped that inflammation tremendously ❤️❤️ highly recommend if you also have issues with skin inflammation from acne

Lol so all this years i thought i had acne but in reality they were just white heads.

Keeping my face clean really did help me get rid of them.
