It’s the self raising flour with the other ingredients already in it. Do NOT try this with all purpose, you will be very disappointed lol

I made my APF self-rising, used sour cream and a little bit of buttermilk, because I didn't have heavy cream. The easiest biscuits I have ever made! Soft, delicious, thanks for the video. This will be my go to. Might even buy some self-rising flour, but easy to make it.❤

I consider myself a decent baker depending on how much I have been baking lately, and I am a Southerner, so I have made a lot of biscuit recipes. These have a lot going for them. I had to throw together some self-rising flour, so four ingredients for me. No biggie. They are quick. The texture is on point. The texture is reminiscent of Angel Biscuits. Since Angel Biscuits require yeast and a lot of time, this is pretty remarkable . They are flavor neutral, which can be good or bad depending on how you plan to serve. Although it might mess them up, I am going to try adding a little salt to improve the flavor profile. 9 out of 10 for me. I hate canned biscuits, so these are going into my recipe book.
