We are looking at PCB vias and for this we have with us M. Philippe Boyer who works for our supplier Würth Electronik in their PCB department.

Yes, of course, there are three main families that are found. We can start with through-hole vias, which as the name implies are vias that go completely through the PCB. The second type are buried vias which only connect internal layers and thus have a connection totally invisible from the outside, and lastly blind vias, represented here by micro laser vias, which will only connect vias from the external layers to the first internal layers of the PCB..."
