The Turkish "intervention" in 1974 was justified as a guarantor just to restore the status quo ante, that is Attila 1, but Attila 2 and the ongoing occupation are not covered by the guarantor status.

Rusif must have asked that but i guess he was either not aware or "forgot".

1) Yusuf mentions Greece escalating through actions but Turkey through rhetoric only. By actions Yusuf mentions the militarization of islands. Yusuf forgot that the islands have been militarized for 50+ years, this is not new, but somehow Turkey only brought this up now. So the "actions" are not new, the rhetoric though, is.
2) Yusuf mentions that islands according to international agreements and law, should be "demilitarised". This is WRONG. Lausanne Treaty ALLOWS military but forbids specific things, like fortifications and naval bases, which Greece does not have on the islands.
3)Yusuf and the Rusif both forgot when it came to France, that Greece and France has a defence agreement which clearly states that if country's sovereignty is violated, then the other country is OBLIGED to come to the defence

Poor interview.

Reade article 14 of the Lausanne treaty and then hypocritically cry again about Greece violating the treaty.😉
