Things have been settled with Lausanne Treaty, Paris Convention and Ankara Convention.
In order to go to negotiations both will have to agree that those treaties are not in effect anymore. Still, if we go to revisioning the treaties will we include all issues i.e. the straits status, Imvros and Tenedos. Smyrna status etc? or just the Turkish claims?

Turkey wants to have rights to the exclusive economic zone. This is a strategic plan of Turkey and the area of Kastellorizo (Megisti). If Turkey occupies this area(some rocks around it) it will have rights on the Cyprus exclusive economic zones (and rights to exploit gas ). If you own something by law, there is no reason to go to negotiation with someone who disputes it. If you own a house by law, you do not go to negotiations with someone who wants it for himself. In the end of the negotiation you will be left with half of the house. The particularity the Turkish speaker talks about equals to Turkish interests, there are no particularities. So the strategy of Turkey is to take Greece to negotiations (preferably without war). This is a standard "foreign policy" for Turkey.
