Suhail's copy is a hadith manuscript. It states who he copied from, which is his father, and we know from multiple cross references that his father studied from a direct eye witness Abu Hurairah r.a. So just this one manuscript is evidence enough that the claim of 200 years is false. Then on top of that we have to move it to a student of Abu Hurairah so one generation out at most I.e. about 40-60 years. Then on top of that if you cross reference the students of Abu Hurairah hadiths collections you find they are consistent and as such it further increases the likelihood of what he was saying is what he heard and saw. The reality is hadith trace right back to Prophet Muhammad pbuh and this is not the oldest manuscript that exists nor is this type of situation uncommon. He should do some proper research because he did repeat a myth. Perhaps he's scared to do so given the potential consequences 😁
