Hmmm...
Firstly, that was very interesting.
Secondly, that "kendo" strike lacked intent.
What I mean by that is the movement was not made to slice the opponent but to "strike"/"whip".
Which make me think the fighter seem to have more experience with a Shinai than a Bokken/Iaito.
As a based rule, two handed sword should overpower single handed sword in a cutting strike. (more power behind the movement)
This bring it to my third point; the target of the attack. Had the intent be to slice and not to "strike", the target should have been the left or right base of the neck which would have generated a lot more power in the movement which would have overpowered the block from the Arnis fighter and render the rest of the counter attack mute.

Now, with all of that said, I'm not saying anything about the Arnis fighter, or the Arnis fighting style. This, in my opinion, would have been a very difficult battle for any two handed sword fighter regardless of the sword they were using.

Why only 2 attacks? Charging is not best for arnis defense and offense is good

doesnt kendo have stabs ? you are writting a novel with an eraser. Even the wooden katana has more length but no more strenght that the arnis robust sticks. the onle play there is like in arnis stab in the shoulders/ eyes plus cuts in the inner leg
