The Queen Meets With Staff and Patients at Cambridge's New Papworth Hospital

The Queen formally opened the new Royal Papworth Hospital as part of her day of engagements in Cambridge.

During her visit Her Majesty met with staff and patients, as she toured the new building's laboratories and critical care unit.

Queen Elizabeth was accompanied by The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron of Royal Papworth Hospital.

I was at Papworth Hospital getting a procedure after a heart attack at the same time as the Queen attended yesterday and the good feeling her visit created was magical. What a lady! and what an asset to our country she is!
Although i was unable to see her first hand due to my condition i could still feel the aura that surrounds her on the 3rd floor up.


Id like to say also that the hospital itself is amazing. The staff were unreal with their help and care, and the facilities and tech in the place were mind blowing.


We are all extremely lucky to have both Papworth Hospital and Her Majesty in our lives.
A huge, massive thank you to both from me.
