The vigil by the grandchildren, from 14 years old to 44, is heartwarming. They mourn their granny under public eyes. Their poise and grace made the Queen proud.

I never noticed before how equal the siblings are: 1 set of brothers, 1 set of sisters, 1 set of brother and sisters with the brother being older and another with the sister being older.

Rewatching and it still makes me emotional seeing this. I have no idea how they were able to do this and not cry. Much love

That moment when these 8 gradchildren bowed their heads, in total silence is heartbreaking yet astonishing to see. Definition of respect.

My heart goes out to each of them at this difficult time ❤

While you can see them each hurting in different ways, this was still an extremely beautiful thing they all did, and the fact that they all decided to do it together as a family is awesome and heartwarming

As the youngest grandchild in my own family, I can't help but feel a bit more sympathy for James, Viscount Severn. He's fourteen years old and doing as good a job in this very public setting as his older sister and cousins.
Love to all of the family. God save the King.

For those who have waited and queued for hours to pay their Last Respects to our late Queen, and then to have been there to witness are all part of a historical event.
Very moving 💔 👑

The Vigils brought me to tears because it was such a break from tradition. Traditionally it was only males who preformed the Vigil for the monarch, yet for the Queen’s Anne was the first female to do it. Then they had, not just the male Grandchildren, but also the female one’s as well. She was our modern Elizabethan Era, she was Queen not just in name but in heart and mind. It was like losing your nan, I’ve lost one of the them and it hurt just the same. She represented us when we couldn’t rely on Politicians to; she did it mind, body and soul. The only person in power to actually live up to what she told us when she came to the throne.

The queen will be looking down on her sweet grandchildren with tears of love .. Family is family no matter what and these young ones coming together to honour their beloved grandma is priceless and shows how truly their love was and that it will always live on

Great Britain has the most breath taking traditions. People should be very wary of getting rid of things that carry on for generations. This golden thread can tie us so closely to those that have gone before. As an American, I have learned much from the Queen. How to put love of God and service to others as the first priorities of one’s life. God rest her

This is really a historic moment. It shows us that the traditions of respect, familial relations and human spirit cannot be overshadowed by a materialistic world. Mourners are focused as they were forced to forget about their mobile phones. A very realistically human moment, indeed.

A very heartwarming tribute given by Queen's grandchildren....The crowds waiting for hours to pay their condolences are so well behaved and dignified... This is a true reflection of modernity, civility, dignity and unity displayed by her majesty's subjects or must I say her larger family....She would be so proud of her Nation...❤️

It’s one thing to be “loved” by the people who only know you as a public person but to be loved and respected by your family who knows the real you - that is worth everything!

Losing one's grandparent is very, very difficult, and thankfully most of us can grieve in private, but these grandchildren are grieving in the public eye with criticism coming from every angle. Although I am definitely not a Royal watcher, I am very touched by the grace and dignity they have portrayed in this very sad time. Their Grannie was always very proud of them and equally, they all loved her very much. R.I.P. HRH Queen Elizabeth and may God protect your family & county.

A very moving hardest part of her funeral for me to watch was when I saw the late queens horse and dogs at her funeral, and when the queens crown was taken off her coffin, I couldn't stop crying.

This is lovely and very moving. I'm sure this means a great deal to the Queen's grandchildren, and to those lucky enough to be present.

I love this. Love and condolences to these young adults who lost their grandmother and grandfather in such a short period of time.
