You are the sweetest for not telling ur parents about the dinner price. 👍😊

At Golden Corral you pay beforehand….so you can indeed go at the end of lunch and get dinner items lol

The thought of watermelon trying to hydrate me instead of liquid makes me so thirsty I can't even begin to describe 😭

Every buffet I've been to, you pay before you sit. So you don't get charged differently for grabbing "dinner food"

as an asian, I agree hahahaa.

my rule is to eat foods that I cant cook or foods that I usually doesnt cook. if there's prawns, crabs, and the likes, its in the top of the list. get a little rice to eat once the food becomes to 'heavy'. sip a little water or eat a little piece of watermelon if you get thirsty.. but I also do eat a nit of the usual food we eat to compare if theirs is better or mine. hahaha

😂😂 so true. My dad always told us no rice, roti or naan, just eat the kebabs and roast with chutneys and pickled onions

My parents are the same too. They'll only go at lunch though with their senior citizens discount. The buffet is the only place They'll go to eat unless we take them out, but I always know they wish they were at the buffet. My husband and I don't care for it, we don't have big appetites and they make us feel like we're wasting money by not packing the food in! We prefer smaller quantities of food that are of higher quality than buffet food when we go out. We took them on a cruise and my parents were so happy!! My dad especially, would be smiling ear to ear with the all you can eat. At one of our dinners, he still talks about it today, he was in heaven, he ate 3 lobsters!! He also wrecked all his shirt pockets by taking extra cookies back to his suitcase via his front shirt pockets. The grease from cookies stained his pockets, but it was worth it to him!! 😊

They are correct. Carbs fill you up fast.

Watermelon when you're thirsty is a new one though.

Lmaoo this is my middle eastern parents rules too! 😂 No pizza or carbs! Plates and plates of seafood, meat and veg! Parents from Asia are too funny. That was so sweet of you to give them that little moment of bliss. You're a great daughter! 😄❤️

Getting your moneys worth is like the most Asian thing... whenever my family and I go to hotels, we make sure to take all the free stuff and amenities..

My family abides by those same rules. I love a seafood buffet. Also it was very sweet of you to let them think they got away with it. That will be a funny family story for years to come!

Is no one going to talk about how sweet it is that she did that for her parents 😊
