Mannol Extreme 5w40 vs Castrol Magnatec C3 5w40

I was using Mannol Extreme 5w40 for 5 000km of city driving and i thought that my car is running a bit loud for some reason.Since i used cheap oill(Mannol) on last service i decided to change it "early"...And yes, the oil was the problem.

Ofc when you pour fresh oil, the engine will run a bit smoother, but this was DRAMATIC.
I do the service myself, usualy every 7-8km and i never heard this big of a sound difference.
The conclusion: Cheap oil - not good.

Oil test based on sound? are you serious? Also black oil means it does what it should do.

i Run mannol oil very good, now i even run cheaper brands label 5w40 fully sintetic for me its fine i change max 8k klm i dont like to pay for brands, prefer cheaper ones and change oil more sooner

Why the engine making more noise on Mannol ? Maybe Castrol not giving to engine enough compression that’s why is quieter 😅 I find out on my a6c7 3.0tdi Quattro on castrol each time running engine I heard little bit timing chain after swap on Mannol I heard maybe twice per 30 runs from cold so here you got the answer. I stay with Mannol ! ( 70kkm on clock )

So, you won't run an oil based on sound and what comes out with Mannol which you have not had analyzed.
Then you show us Castrol, just the sound and NOT what comes out, so we can't compare the two.
Highly scientific 'test'.

Mannol cleaned up your engine and castrol gets all the credit ? Anyways this engine oil thing is religious and it´s going to hurt your wallet. I use mannol and sub brand Fanfaro on my cars for extreme start - stop usage.

I think if you poured the same oil you would have gotten the same result as it's a fresh oil, but let's see...

I use mannol 5l extreme 5w40 for some years now and zero problems on a skoda octavia mk1 1.6 102hp. 24eur +- from autodoc

I just change a Castrol magnatec to mannol. Why when start the car engine was so noisy when is running on Castrol. Then I moved the rubbish Castrol and fit again Mannol. Never ever will touch Castrol. That is my second car what I tried Castrol.

Stejný test po 5000km s Castrolem a výsledek bude minimálně stejný 😉

You will have the exact same result with the Castrol if you do the same test after 5000km of city driving. The driving pattern is the problem not the oil as diesels don't like city driving.

Nem is egy árkategóriás termék. Akkor most 10e- t menj a Castrollal, és 10e- t Xado 5w40- nel. Utàna fülelj. Ez egy árkstegória.

It's made in EU, so high sulphur . they're not the original german brand. the factory blending and making many brand at the SCT factory in Germany, it's not under german lubricant laws.

well thats nonsense black oil is normal espaci in diesel engines any new oil put in the car well meak of engine quayet and in new and 0 usage .... can be even a 5 $ engine sorry but that's not a test that Joke :D

why you dont use the same norm on both brand "Mannol Acea a3/b4" vs "Castrol C3" ? i hope you can retry with the same grade "Mannol ACEA C3"/"Castrol ACEA 3" for a fair comparaison.
