Slowing down the lowering phase and keeping dumbbells close to the knees instantly fired the hamstrings for me.. gotta lower the weight a bit and build from there ig

Love this video, to the point, just how to do the damn exercise. So many show but don't tell, or just show the "wrong" way and the "right way" but as a beginner I see no difference lol

creating a larger emphasis on leaning forward is something that isn't stated here, isolating the hamstrings on a hinge is highly dependent on relative shoulder position to hip. the cue (chest up, isn't specific enough)

I've noticed that I feel them in my hamstrings on my way down, especially at the bottom position, but on my way back up it feels like it's all lower back. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong.

I don't even bend my knee. I feel bending my knee put less impact on my hamstrings.

I like Stepping on 2 small dumb bels Up to half of the base of my foot to elevate my toes while the back of the foot is on the Ground to increase the range of you try this Slow down because if not careful you can tear your hamstring... Hamstring and gluteus maximus become Awesome

he is actually doing it kinda wrong, he hugs the weight to his body. They weight should go straight down. If he picks up any meaningful weight, his form will automatically change.
