#Has The Narcissist Found Happiness With The New Supply

Has the Narcissist found happiness with the new person, is a haunting question for many of us that are discarded out of left field as if we meant nothing to someone we loved dearly. Happiness and the concept of that to a narcissist may differ from how a normal person views that emotion. Also, the illusion that anyone else matters on an emotional level to a narcissist is a key to answering this question.

The only time they are happy is when they are making you miserable. After 20 years with this thing I have never seen it happy or have joy unless it was doing something mean/dirty/ disrespectful. Spot on! This is the best way to look at the bigger picture. How did your relationship and the relationship before you end? They don't change so it's a 100% chance they're treating the next person just as terrible. If that person stays, it's because they are asleep and feel they can change the narcissist. It's a very dark road to travel. We've all been there.

They hate everything about themselves.
They despise you being happy, they will do whatever they can to destroy that. They will pick a fight for no apparent reason. Just to get a reaction out of you that's all they looking for.

Oh my goodness ...you have just given me the last piece of the puzzle I needed to understand these monsters. Listening to you explaining this made me get chills and think "true vampires" the entire time. It actually made me feel like I wanted to gag. It was so deep and true. I never understood how come I was so sick for so long after leaving or being left by one. It is like they suck your essence and leave their venom inside you.
