Totally agree with your opinions regarding the positives and negatives. I based in China and own a 03, which is a compact sedan of Lynk. It also has some little flaws but considering this is a new brand, I can live with it. Luckily, the service desk is amazingly good, comparing to most of other car brands here. So I guess they need to pay more time and efforts to construct their service net in Europe. Anyway, nice review, a bunch of love!

Still waiting for my Lynk&co. Biggest problems:
- Support desk = 45min. wait is unexceptable. Although I think Lynk&co would solve alot of issues by being a bit more informative with some stuff. For instance:
- A car manual in PDF download
- A kinda track & trace of you order state, so where are we and what is te expected wait with kind of a legenda
- Updates on what they are doing (bugs, status of insurrance, etc.)
- bug report form
- Connectivity with car = Alot of stuff seems to not work or be buggie and If I really look at the core of these problems they al seem to be related to connectivity with the internet.
- Sharing and everything around it
- Profile stuff (settings, unlocking, car status and options to connect to by phone)
- Spotify bugs
= I think if they put in a simcard (I presume it's connected through a mobile sim) of a good mobile company (kpn, vodafone, t-mobile) would do the trick and would result in alot less bugs.

They solved the mail problem here in Netherlands. Had a reaction in an hour max. Some mails in 15 minutes. And waited only 5 minutes on phone. :D

We’ve just done a testdrive in The Hague with the Lynk & CO 01 so thought watching some of your video’s would be great.

You’re mentioning the 95km/h bug in pure drive, and seen this also in other video’s so was waiting for it to happen during the test drive, but it didn’t happen!

The one we drove was a 2022 model so Maybe they did some updates.

Keep up the good work with the video’s. Just subscribed 👍🏻

i found very easy to talk with the call center and they were kind and cooperative in solving my problem but there are some issues in the car, for example after 1 week use the car lost connectivity to internet, so i ll have to take it to the volvo repair center

I´ve had my Lynk & Co 01 for 6, 5 weeks and driven it 2100 km. Here´s what I like and don´t like about the car.

Like:
Exterior and interior design
The blue metallic paint
The interior quality feel
The graphics in the digital displays, both the instrument cluster and the big display in the center
Soundproofing
Driver seat comfort
Cabin space
Electric range (awesome!)
Consumption on petrol
The winter tyres you are getting are the best on the market (for comparison, if you have a Volvo XC40 subscription you get All-Weather tyres = the same tyres in the winter as in the summer! Winters can be pretty bad in Sweden, where I live, so I wouldn´t want to drive around on icy, snowy roads with that)
Safety Level (5 stars i Euro NCAP, 96 of 100 in front seat passenger safety) and most of the safety systems
Steering wheel (looks and feels great)
Apple Carplay
Panoramic roof

Don´t like:
The suspension (or rather then dampers) is too stiff for my liking, particularly in slower speeds and on bumpy roads. On country roads and motorways it´s good
The App for the phone could have more features and show more information and statistics
Not being able to run the AC for preheating from the App, when the charging cable isn´t plugged in (when you´re not home)
Not being able to reset the trip meter manually, when you like. It can only be reset automatically, "after the car is refueled" or "before each new trip" (which does not work)
Not getting enough consumption information, the trip computer can only show the last 10 and 100 km, not the consumption since the car first started to roll, or since you last charged/or refueled or for your current trip (other than the last 10 or 100 km)
Frank (the voice assistant) unfortunately does not understand Swedish addresses/street names and can´t navigate to them
The brake pedal is difficult to dose, could be smoother and less abrubt
Sometimes the trip computer loses data (battery level, consumption last 10/100 km) and all of a sudden it comes back again
The other day the App for the phone didn´t work at all, I couldn´t get any information about my car. I think the App is Cloud based and that they had some problems or maintenance work)

Okay but could be better:
Sound system
The adaptive cruise control is nice, but a bit abrubt sometimes, could be smoother
Backup camera - very good graphics, but no 360-view
Side windows could be double-glazed/double paned to reduce wind drag and noise from cars passing by
Boot space could be bigger (would have been easy to fix if the 12 V battery wasn´t placed in the middle of the under floor space)
The back seats could have been adjustable to be able to extend the boot space, since the knee room in the backseat is much greater than my kids need
The passenger seat is only manually adjustable (not electric) and not able to adjust to the same position/comfort as the driver seat
The lane keeping assist does not seem to be 100% reliable, but it´s not a deal breaker for me - I like to hold the steering wheel anyway 😃

Don´t know:
Noise level at higher highway speeds (120-130km/h), have not driven faster than 95-100 km/h yet
Headlights (low and high beam) on dark, unlit roads, have only driven on lit up/illuminated roads in the town/city and suburbs so far
Winter driving

Overall a very nice-looking, comfortable, roomy, luxurious and economical car that me and my family are very pleased with.

The customer service is indeed a disaster. Now even the email function isn’t available anymore so you can only call them anymore but as you said the waiting time is endlessly. I had quite a few people showing interest in the car but because of the lack of a decent customer service I def wouldn’t recommend it to them . Especially to a bit more older people. The holding in at 95 km is indeed annoying, Especially when overtaking it can be really dangerous so it is important to put it in hybrid then. The wind noise I haven’t really noticed yet to be honest but will pay close attention to it once. The app in my case works, not always from the first time but it usually does, except for starting the climate change. Which I also find ridiculous which can only happen when plugged in. Not everyone can charge for example at their work . Other then that it Is a real eye catcher so if you don’t like attention don’t get the car. I am sometimes even embarrassed to drive it. People also often seem to think it is a Porsche somehow. Otherwise great car to drive, great stability and cornering for such a heavy suv as well . Love the adaptive cruise controle . The lane assist in the highway assist could be better but still a good feature. One more question. You got all season tired on yours ? Mine seem to be just summer tyres so just wondering how it will handle in icy and snowy conditions..

1:05 It should be easy to fix as the system should notice if any of the passenger seats have the seat belt activated...

Service today is a defining differentiator for businesses, online or offline. Too bad that they do not take this more seriously. Agree that the app is the biggest obstacle to accessing what Lynk&co promised us. Totally agree with all your pro & cons

Hi Thom. I've recently drove this car in Germany, rented from Hertz. I had it for 4 days, but didn't experience any wind noise from A pillars at all, even at 150kmh. The noise was coming at very high speed, but it was rather from the sunroof.

Can you believe it? This car, which is claimed to be safe and of uniform global manufacturing standards, has taken a differentiated approach when it comes to actual production. The model sold in China was recently found to have been treated with a reduction in steel strength, which does not match the strength advertised earlier, and one guesses that this was done to reduce production costs, which is a serious fraud! And it cannot be ruled out that the vehicles used for testing are not of the same steel strength as the actual vehicles sold! NCAP should have taken anonymous purchases for secondary spot checks!

Hired one for two weeks in Italy. It was fine but the hybrid aspect seemed pretty poor, there are loads of annoying aspects re connectivity as mentioned and the driver engagement was pretty minimal - a big blob. It got us from a to b but I definitely wouldn’t actually buy one.

Got the 01 in model version of 2022!
And theres a great innovation to tell you about: they changed the frontglasses to a soundabsorbing version!
So you can easily drive up to 200kmh an enjoy silence in the car! 💖 Marvellous! 🥰

The app still doesn't really exists... no function that helps or is needed. 😥🤕
On top there's another bug in the multimedia system: neither the current radiochannel is remembered, nor is the mobile recognized automatically. You first have to activate EVERYTIME you sit in the car the existing connection for playing your favorite stuff vom the phone... 🙄Thats crazy for a actual car! 😥

So far - have a great ride everybody!

What do you think about the blue details on the exterior? I would prefer the black edition without the blue details.. a "Chrome-delete" but more like a "Blue-delete". It would look badass completely black with black alloys

About being put on hold for 45 minutes when trying to reach Customer Service .... it's not a luxury problem. It tells the tale from the point of view of Lynk & Co. And it's not a good one at that!

Hoe is het nu met de negatieve aspecten van deze auto. Zijn ze opgelost middels software updates? Werkt de app al? Kun je het infotainment al bedienen terwijl je rijd? Is de 95km bug er al uitgehaald?

What about the negative aspects of this car? Have they been resolved through software updates? Does the app already work? Can you already operate the infotainment while you drive? Has the 95km bug been fixed yet?

Hej Thom!

Jag funderar på att köpa en lync &co 01 efter att ha tittat på samtliga video som du lagt ut. Från början så brydde jag mig inte så mycket om årsmodell men då du upplyst om vilka uppdateringar som gjorts 2022 och 2023 så var jag inne på att köpa en 2023. Det var onbord laddaren på 6.6kw istället för tidigare 3.3 som är den viktigaste faktorn för mig. Men nu har jag fördjupat mig i detta och enligt de uppgifter jag kommit fram till och som man också kan läsa om på Lync &co hemsida är att för att kunna nyttja 6.6kw laddaren måste man ha en laddstation som är inkopplad med 1 fas 32A. De flesta laddboxar hemma är på 11kw (3 fas 16A). Det är inte många eller kanske ingen som har 1 fas på 32A hemma. Det gör att man inte kommer ha någon nytta av den nya onbord laddaren även om det teoretiskt skulle vara möjligt att ladda den från 0-100 % på ca 2-2.5 timmar.

Der emot om man har en 22kw laddststion (3x32A) då hade det varit möjligt. 22kw laddststion finns på många platser men detta kommer alltså inte förkorta laddtiden när man laddar hemma.

Skulle verkligen uppskatta I fall du ger mig lite feedback på detta.

För övrigt är du utan tvekan personen som gjort den bästa utlåtandet /testet av just Lync & co 01 och där med väckt mitt intresse för just denna bil. Stort tack.
