I also believe that there are people with the strength to perform advanced calisthenics movements but their minds don't have a clear idea of the technical aspects.

Climber here. 67kg bw, 1rm pull-up +45kg. Can do a one-armer on my right arm, not on my left.

I'm working on a tutorial and did some thorough analysis. I came to the conclusion that it is around 70-90% BW added. the reason for the interval is, the bigger people are, the longer the leverages, the more relative weight is required

A one arm pull up movement is nothing like a regular pull up and doesn't translate in a very reliable way. It depends on the person and their build.

The only "requirement" to doing a one arm pull up is doing a one arm pull up.

I couldnt do a clean one around the time i did my pull up pr of +80kg at 80kg. I probably cant do that weight today, but i can do a much cleaner one arm pull up since i practiced just that.

Street lifter here i got my first one arm when i did 50kg weighted pull up at 70kg now i noticed that increasing weighted pull ups doesn’t do much so you have to train more one arm i can do with 10kg now weighted one arm for 2 in my good arm 1 in my bad arm

It really depends on the person. I could do a +90% BW weighted pull-up, but was nowhere near being able to do a one arm.

It’s generally considered to be around 65-75%. I did my first one with a max weighted pull of 66%

My friend weighs around 75 kg and can do a +90 kg pull up. I think he said he could do at least 7 one arm pull-ups. So that sounds about right

This sounds about right. I not quite able to do a single one when I weighed 210lbs, I could only do around 145lbs added weight on pullups at the time, but around 170lbs on a chinup. I could get just past 90deg elbow angle but that was'nt enough to close.

I got my one arm pullups in 2018, no weighted pullups. I started doing weighted pullups when i got into bouldering 2 years ago when i wanted to level up to v5-7. I was strictly into bboying and body weight calisthenics.

90%bw on your first weighted pull is insane

Yes this is really close to being accurate.

When I had 1.75x BW pull up I couldnt even pull on left arm and could pull 25 % on right arm but no one arm prep, hang or anything. But for front lever I got it within 2 months of practice from that point.

Translate into english if you want.👍

I have a decent OAPU on both sides. 75kg body weight with a ≈65kg weighted pull up

I'll be happy if I can do a muscle up let alone a one arm pull up 👍

At 135 pounds my max added weight was bodyweight. It was rough, though! And I can do several consecutive one-arm pull-ups with each arm. I feel like it's the equivalent of about 50-60% added weight, personally.

My pb was 65kg added weight chin up as 78kg own weight. I managed to do one arm chin up somewhere after 45-50kg for weighted chin up. So roughly those 65 to 80%
