Would you lose hope if you were in his situation? 🤔

Man, when he said it broke open and it spilled- that wasn’t an accident. You just KNOW it in your heart

You'd think the justice system would want to catch the real rapist (as well as free this innocent soul!!).

Mishandling evidence regarding murder should land you in a cell for life without parole.

Not everyone in jail is a bad person & not everyone free is a good person.

The last bit it broke open and Jackie left me hit me in the feels because he was betrayed so many times and so much so i believe she was there long enough to find whatever evidence to give the government a heads up so something could happen in transport.

Nick Yarris sued the Delaware County District Attorney's Office in federal court for malicious prosecution, and the case eventually settled for $4 million in 2008

This guy's story was absolutely heartbreaking. He's been through hell and back

Justice system gets their money and status by getting a conviction.
Regardless of innocence or guilt.

My twin cousins and my uncle were convicted of killing a prostitute. Twins were 18 years old at the time and got 10 years each and the Uncle got death row. Twins blamed everything on uncle. Twins get out and DNA comes out. DNA proved Uncle was innocent and Twins killed the girl. Twins couldn't be tried again and uncle got exonerated. Christmas dinners definitely weird.

You knows he s innocent when he wants the dna test.

Jackie was a real one. Unfortunately she most likely concluded that it was intentional sabotage and that he would never get out. Probably cut her losses in hopes of at least finding someone to not die alone.

What a poor poor man. Fancy having to go through all of that. Every time he got his hopes up he was fucked over by corruption. His resilience was amazing

In America
A free prisoner equals a lost customer (and state funding)

Dying for something that you are innocent of - I can’t imagine that pain.

This man must have pissed off the devil because this is worse fate than any horror movie.

Knowing you're innocent and no matter how hard you fight, the system that's supposed to help you turns out to be the enemy.

Its easier to indict an innocent man than to find the real culprit.
