To be fair, he also believed each wall in the house had a personality.

The Baldwin Brothers lived across the road from the Amityville house and the one who was in Backdraft said they hung out sometimes at that house and nothing ever happened there.

WEIRDEST PART OF THE STORY: He killed his entire family as they slept, with a gun that did not have a threaded barrel for a silencer, with no silencer having been discovered, and the scorch marks dictating that no silencer could have been used, and each family member was face down in their beds, without signs of being restrained or moved or drugged. The neighbor, who was awake at the time of the killings, said he was alerted to something going on because his dog was barking, but other-wise didn't hear anything unusual. How many people did he kill? 6 family members, all of whom were found in their beds. He went from room to room, methodically killing each and every one of his family members with a loud rifle in the middle of the night, and no one woke up or heard the sound of the gun somehow, with no evidence there was anything used to dampen the sound of the gun either.

What gun was used to do this? a .35 caliber Remington rifle. Not a "quiet" round by any measure.

My cousin is like that guy. Slit my throat from ear to ear, then was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He should have gotten life, but they let him out of Texas mental institutions because of lack of insurance due to their financial insolvency. So watch out in Indiana!

They should have a psychologist in every school that talks to children so we can maybe stop things like this from happening
