I have a measuring spoon set that has a pinch, tad, dash, etc. You can get them online. I love that this recipe doesn’t use a partial egg, that’s always so awkward.

I agree with those who say that switching the whole oven on for just one cookie in these times of extortionately priced power is not a good idea. Then there is all the washing up created!

Maybe wait until the oven is on for a cake or a roast and pop it in with that.

Could you cook this cookie on the hob in a dry frying pan or in an air fryer?

This recipe is perfect! I make them and bake them in my air fryer. One or two at a time and they're done in about 10 -12 minutes.

I have a very small oven and I used to cook only two parts of any cake. To eat only what I need and fight food wastage is the right concept so I love the idea of cooking one cookie.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

This small batch recipe idea is very helpful for people for trying recipes because many time we try recipes in big batches and if you don't like the taste or texture of it we end up throwing it in the dustbin and once you happy with the result of the recipe, you can make big batch as well and theres no wasteage of food time energy and ofcourse mood

I multiplied the dough by 10 and I did some adjustments (I added some milk chocolate chips and walnuts) and they turned out perfect.I chilled them for about an hour and I baked them for about 20 min.😋🍪🍫

swapped the flour for food processed oats for our high fiber diet and it worked pretty good 👍

Or alternatively make a batch of cookies, portion out the dough, freeze it and store them in a container in the freezer. You can grab a single ball of cookie dough out whenever you feel like freshly baked cookies! ☺️

This is great! I love to bake and I'm in the same position as Edd Kimber, it's just my spouse and I and I sometimes don't have anyone to give cookies, cupcakes, half of a cake to. There are many single people, or households with only 2 people, who need small batch recipes. I'm ordering Ed's cookbook today. :)
