Warren P. Johnson: I will give several 18th and 19th century proofs of Lagrange’s theorem for the expansion of a certain kind of implicit function in a power series, and perhaps a few applications. Dick Askey always encouraged this project, which I stopped working on some years ago, so this seems like an appropriate occasion to begin to revive it.
