American Tries Tim Horton's For the First Time

I went to Vancouver recently, and I got to experience my first Tim Horton's!! At first I wasn't sure what Tim Horton's was... Was it some kind of cozy cult? Was Mr. Hortons the Canadian prime minister? Was Tim Horton's basically some kind of Canadian Dunkin' Doughnuts? Thank goodness I had my friends, Paula and Nadia, with me sort it all out. Turns out that--yes-- Tim Horton's is indeed a cult, so bow before the blessed Timbits, you heathens.

For those unfamiliar with Tim Horton's: I live in BC, and I can drive for 20 minutes and pass 3 or 4 Tim Horton's. I think this is the case for many areas in Canada. In Canada, Tim Horton's is everywhere like MacDonald's or Subway or Starbucks or 7-11.

Honey cruellers are the BEST 😍 and where I'm from in Canada I grew up going to hockey games and getting hot chocolate at Tim's so we wouldn't freeze lol

Um... We have tim hortons all over Buffalo and around Angola, Evans, etc. Actually... I can go anywhere and find one that isn't in a hockey arena.

i went to this one place before that had timbits but different name i was ordering and said timbits and they had no clue what i was talking about and on the drive to the hotel i was gambling about why not just call it timbits same thing

Ashley - There IS Tim's in the States, in the Eastern US.  However you can still pick up Tims in certain US grocery Stores.

Love their TimBits and Hot Chocolate as an American. They were actually my first introduction to coffee that I actually liked. As you said, , probobaly because their coffee base is so mild. My fave and only coffee I get there right now is the French Vanilla Cappuccino.
